On Thursday (16/1), PrivyID was invited to attend the Digital Signature and Electronic Certificate for Financial Services Industry in Indonesia workshop. This educational and community building program was organized by The Association of Indonesian Financial Technology (AFTECH) in collaboration with Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (KOMINFO) and The Indonesian Banks Association (Perbanas) at the Grand Ballroom of Ayana Midplaza Hotel, Jakarta.
The program was opened with a panel discussion brought by Mr. Riki Arif Gunawan of Kominfo, Mr. Tris of OJK, Mr. Karaniya of OVO, Mr. Budi Prasetyo of Bank Mandiri, and Mr. Erwandi Hendarta of HHP law firm. During the panel discussion, it was revealed that implementation of digital signature and electronic certificates could contribute up to 600% of annual growth in capital market within 4 years. With a potential this big, digital signature is undoubtedly play an important role in our national economic growth. Digital signature also provides a stronger protection against identity theft and fraud attempts on online transactions. Therefore, financial institutions are highly encouraged to adopt digital signature solution within their business immediately.
As the first Non-Government Institution to be acknowledged as Certified Certificate Authority by Kominfo, PrivyID had the privilege to present PrivyID’s technology and solutions on stage. Presented by PrivyID’s CEO Marshall Pribadi, the session was filled with a brief introduction of our available and upcoming services.
