On Friday (24/7), PrivyID’s Chief Executive Officer, Marshall Pribadi, joined Center for Indonesian Policy Studies’ (CIPS) Digital Week webinar as a speaker. He was joined by Bernardus Billy, partner of Makes and Partners, and Jonathan Gerhard Tarigan Head of Indonesia’s System Management and Electronic Certification Center (BSSN).
Moderated by Galuh Octania who is a Researcher of CIPS, the webinar was opened with an introduction of PrivyID by Marshall Pribadi to the participants. During this session, Marshall discussed about private sector’s involvement for e-signature in Indonesia that has helped PrivyID to grow. “Private sectors must join hand with government offices in building trust and awareness of digital signature’s security and legality among societies within Indonesia”, he said
Marshall further explained that in terms of security, PrivyID uses SHA 256 (Secure Hashing Algorithm 256). Marshall revealed, “Mathematically we can find out if the document has some changes in it or not. Even a simple comma change in the middle of the page could be detected.”
